Haridwar and Rishikesh are the gateway on the Ganga. From there the Garhwal roads climb to Kedarnath and Badrinath (the Do Dham), or the helicopter from Dehradun does it in a day. The Valley of Flowers and Hemkund Sahib are a monsoon walk from Govindghat; Auli is the winter ski meadow above Joshimath.
